Location: Work From Home (Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM SYD time

As their business continues to grow, we are looking to expand their remote operations team with a skilled and reliable Travel Administrator who can provide outstanding administrative and system support to their travel consultants.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Administrator to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting travel consultants by managing travel bookings, coordinating fares and ticketing, and handling various administrative tasks to ensure smooth travel operations.

This position requires familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) and the ability to communicate confidently with airlines and the internal team

About Key Responsibilities: 

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and process fares and ticketing using Amadeus and Sabre
  • Handle airline-related communications, including queries, waiver requests, and flight/ticketing changes
  • Provide voice support for airline and advisor calls as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, amendments, and cancellations
  • Ensure all travel documentation and itineraries are correctly issued and up to date
  • Support travel consultants with client booking management and follow-ups
 

Administrative Support

  • Reservation Management – data entry, managing changes and cancellations, and sending reminders
  • Update airline, car rental, and hotel reservations as required
  • Set up and maintain project management software for workflow organisation
  • Manage diary and email correspondence for travel consultants
  • Ask for client testimonials and maintain feedback records
  • Create reports and maintain accurate records of travel and administrative activities
  • Database management (Salesforce and Tramada CRMs) – ensure all client information is updated and accurate
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally
  • Coordinate with travel partners and internal teams for operational requirements
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement
 

Finance Support

  • Perform bank reconciliations (MYOB)
  • Conduct basic online bookkeeping tasks (MYOB)
  • Manage debtors and creditors reconciliations (MYOB)
  • Handle finance data entry for expense tracking and reporting (MYOB)

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a travel administration or similar role
  • Proficiency in Amadeus and/or Sabre is required
  • Experience using Tramada and Salesforce is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of fares, ticketing, and general travel operations
  • Solid administrative and data management background
  • Experience with basic bookkeeping or finance support is a plus
  • Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Tourism, Business, or related field
