Part-time Digital Marketing Coordinator

Expand your career horizons with Offshore Virtual Assistants – a well respected Australian-owned Outsourcing Company.  Our client is based in Australia, and has a  successful, growing online retail businesses, both giving customers the experience of a specialty store online, selling trending baby and mum products.

We are looking for an organised and efficient team member who will maintain our e-commerce website and take responsibility for our digital marketing and work closely with our management team.

Overall, your role is to manage the daily operations of the online store and ensure that it runs smoothly, is updated with new products, categories, descriptions and images. This requires strong attention to detail and communication skills. To create and implement a marketing strategy for social media, campaigns and general administration tasks

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

DIGITAL MARKETING 

  • Managing website content: You will be responsible for updating and maintaining the website (WordPress) content, including new product ranges,  product categories, descriptions, images, keywords and prices. This involves adding new products, removing discontinued items, and ensuring that all product information is accurate and up to date (including stock level through software & website). Maintaining and answering Chat Bot enquiries. 
  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to achieve revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and conversion goals.
  • Website optimization: Optimize the website for SEO, user experience, and conversion rates. Continuously monitor and analyze web analytics to identify opportunities to improve site performance and make data-driven decisions. Ensuring plugins are correct and updated. 
  • Monitoring website performance: You will need to regularly monitor the website’s performance, including traffic, conversion rates, and sales. This involves using analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analytics and reporting: Monitor and analyze website traffic, sales, and other key performance indicators. Prepare regular reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Handling customer enquiries: You will be responsible for answering customer inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. This may involve communicating with customers via email, chat,chat-bot  or phone to provide assistance and resolve any issues that they may have. This includes order fulfillment, returns, and exchanges.
  • Implementing marketing campaigns: You may be responsible for developing and implementing email marketing campaigns to promote the website and its products. This involves creating targeted advertisements, contents for email marketing, running email marketing, managing social media accounts, posting social media and tracking the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • AI learning: You may be encouraged to undertake online courses for AI to learn and update the knowledge in the Artificial Intelligence space in order to efficiently utilise the AI in creating contents (i.e. blog) & copies.  
  • Inventory monitoring: You will be working closely with the manager to update the inventory level and report her with an inventory management software highlighting those which are getting low. 

Graphic Design

  • using design flair with Canva to ensure the images are appealing and represent the products and uploaded with optimal resolution and compression. 

OTHER DUTIES as required to assist in the growth of the company

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: 

  • At least 2 years experience in e-commerce website administration and management.
  • Experience in SEO white hat techniques and prepared to commit to keeping SEO skills up to date.

PERSONAL QUALITIES: 

  • You should have strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of e-commerce/ SEO best practices, technologies, and trends. You should also be able to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing market conditions. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – with internal and external customers
  • Ability to effectively prioritise work tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work strategically,  independently and to carry out assignments to completion following processes and procedures
  • Upskill the management team in E-commerce channels

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in e-commerce,  IT or data processing or equivalent
  • Excellent English (literacy and numeracy)
  • Must be available to work for 4 hours Western Australian Time (which is same as the Philippine) between business hours from 8:30AM- 5:30PM
