Business Development Executive

Offshore Virtual Assistants, a very respected Australian outsourcing company, is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive for our UK client.

We are seeking someone to lead in generating new contacts, closing new business, and managing new accounts to unlock potential not currently realised in the UK.

With an ability to show a high level of competency and organisational skills working
within a team environment providing a total quality service to internal and external customers. Ensuring that a professional representation of the company, its services and values with a positive
can-do attitude are always exhibited.

Full time: UK Business Hours

PRIMARY ROLE

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings and increasing the
    value of customers while attracting new ones.
  • Contacting new prospects by
    • Calls; first in line to answer any in-bound calls. These would include order processing, providing quotations, helping with queries, enquiries and processing payments etc.
    • Outbound calls to obtain information, chase payments, book in deliveries, or confirm order details etc.
    •  Emails; orders, quotes, queries, price increases (same as above basically)
  • System; processing quotations, orders, logging calls & adding opportunities to the system.
  • Researching the market and feedback developments/innovations that are needed in the
    market
    • Researching larger opportunities and working with BD Team setting up agreements with such customers to remove the risk of business moving elsewhere.
  • Analyse customers and prospects to identify
    • Areas to increase profitability
    • Opportunities to sell additional products
  • Challenge the status quo, look to improve our internal processes and procedures

Required Qualifications

Skills & Knowledge & Education Requirements

  • Fluent English speaker, both written and verbally
  • A drive to seek new business
  • High level of commercial acumen and professional negotiation skills
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to lead by example
  • Excellent communication techniques
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
  • Good Microsoft Office software skills
